Holiday Roundup
We are looking back on holidays and I am here to declare that I’ve had a change of heart since we first recorded Ep 30 Taking the Hectic Out of the Holidays and Ep 57 Part 2 of Taking the Hectic Out of the Holidays. I once listed sending out Christmas cards as something to taking off your long lists of to-dos during the month of December. Well, no more.
This year, I sent out Christmas Cards and I loved every single Christmas Card I got in the mail! So from my family to yours, belated Merry Christmas! I’m sending you a virtual Christmas Card.
Not surprisingly, Bethany really enjoyed her Christmas Cards this year too, as she shared on Instagram.
Since we are talking about Christmas cards in January, the next question is, what do you do with the Christmas cards now that the holidays are over?
One option, of course, is to throw them away. You can acknowledge the fact that they have been enjoyed for a season and now it is time to say goodbye.
If throwing away the cards sound nearly impossible for you, use Sam’s tip from Simply Organized. She snaps a picture of the family photo to use as a contact image in her phone.
Another options is to make your cards into a “book” by punching a hole and using a ribbon or ring to secure them together. I shared this last year on Instagram @Space4Living under Organizing Tips in my highlights.
Also, head on over to @AtoBpodcast on Instagram to see Bethany’s infamous planner from 1992 that she claims she will be using as a gratitude journal this year. Yes, you read that right, 1992!
Oh, and it is not too early to start to planning for next year’s holidays. Check out Ep 57 Planning for the Seasons, to get a jump start!
5 Questions to help you Reflect and Plan Ahead
This year, instead of choosing a word for the year, like we did last year in Ep 54 A Word to Bring in the New Year, we are reflecting on 5 questions.

- What is something great that came into your life this past year?
- What is something you let go of this year?
