We have an extra special episode today because we get to share part of an interview we did over on The Simply Teach Podcast.
Even though I’m a former teacher and Bethany is currently teaches Kindergarten, we haven’t really touched on classroom organization before now. Today we are sharing a few realistic tips you can implement in your classroom.
We unceremoniously entered into the 3rd year of recording A to B Podcast!! To help us celebrate, please share A to B Podcast with 3 friends! Here is a quick guide about how to listen to our podcast you can share with your friends.
We can’t thank you enough for all your support with reviews and feedback, but if you haven’t already, please take a moment to subscribe and leave a review. You can subscribe in iTunes, Stitcher, Google Play AND now on Spotify. We hope to continue growing A to B Podcast, but we can’t do it without your support!
*We want to feature you and share your organizing wins! Tag us on Social Media, #AtoBpodcast, or send us an email, Hello@AtoBpodcast.
5 Tips for a more Organized Classroom
We talk about five ways you can implement classroom organization in your classroom.
1. Use shortcuts to make things quicker and create routines (like filing papers by season, thinking about how you can help yourself out for next year, and using numbers instead of names.)
2. Look for ways for students to take ownership over the things you do in your classroom
3. Make your classroom be student accessible
4. Teach students organization skills and how to organize their classroom
5. It doesn’t have to be cute, it just needs to be practical!
