I thought it would be fun to share a collection of organizing ideas found on Pinterest. (This post may or may not have been written so that I can officially call my time spent on Pinterest “research.” )
There are so many clever organizing solutions to be found! Every time I log on to the site, I find that I am oohing and ahhing over another fun tip. For those of you who are already pinterest junkies, you may have seen these pics, since quite a few of them have made the repinning rounds. On to the “research.”
It is true that in the world, there are beautiful, glossy, and organized spots like this little gem of a workspace. (By the way that is an Ikea Expedit mounted on the wall!)
Or how about this amazing garage/storage space by Ikea.
As much fun as it is to browse through all of the practically perfect organized spaces, my favorite finds are clever, DIY type of organizing ideas. Like this divided basket turned entrance catch-all with a few strategically placed labels. Adorable, no?
Look at this shelf fashioned to keep cords off the floor and hidden beneath the desk. Taking those messy cords and giving them their own little hideaway!
I really can’t get enough of cord control! Here are two more creative solutions.

Here’s a bathroom caddy turned car caddy. My favorite part is the empty tissue box turned trash can.

I am in awe of cleverly re-purposed items. Book storage anyone?
