So I am a little behind the times… I just joined Twitter.
I stubbornly dragged my feet with Facebook and then had to reluctantly admit it was kind of fun. But with Twitter, I have dived in head first! I had no idea twitter was such a wealth of information! And I am not referring to gossip and what random people ate for lunch. There are some real tidbits of organizing knowledge out there!
After a tutorial from my social media guru, about retweeting and what the # means, (it is called hashtagging and when you put # symbol in front of a word or phase it collects all the tweets with that word together in a nice little package) @wecreatespace was up and running. During my twitter explorations, I collected a few of my favorite tweets to share with you.
I found some fabulous one liners.
From @Neato Organizing – There is no ONE way to be organized. You are an organizational snowflake.
From @Julie Morgenstrn – Decluttering will not create a system… it will help you mange change.
Another gem from @Julie Morgenstrn – Go room by room, think it through when you create really simple systems that are repeatable.
My browser quickly became overloaded with all the links to interesting articles too.
We all can use tips for procrastination.
And from @organize – Take just 10 minutes & organize something in arms reach. That briefcase? Files on ur computer desktop? Desk drawer? Hop to it and enjoy! 🙂
We must be related, joined by our love of 10 Minute Organizing. I had to retweet that one!
To sum up my social media education, a tweet by @markwschaefer retweeted by @MarianSchembari – Twitter: I need to pee. FB: I peed! 4square: Peeing here! Quora: Why do I pee? YouTube: Watch me pee! LnkdIn: I pee so well.
