There are so many reasons I love to organize, let’s just start with a few.
- In a very short amount of time and with almost no money, organizing can transform your space.
- When things are in order, your day can flow as smoothly as possible.
- When an interruption does arise it is easy to recover and return to your current task.
- You find beloved items hidden away in the land of forgotten.
- You save money by buying only what you need and not buying repeat items.
- You keep only the most important and meaningful things around you which leads to a richer life.
With all that being said, as much as I love being organized it is not the first thing I jump to when I have downtime. There is clutter in my house as well as some hidden disasters. There are times when I have an overwhelming desire to organize everything in my house within 48 hours. I am quickly brought back to reality by my 2 and 4 year old daughters. I am forced to stay balanced and make room for living also.
This brings me to my purpose of starting this blog, to motivate myself to pursue my love of organizing while keeping things in perspective as I connect with others who may love to have things in order around them yet life gets in the way. Is it possible to be organized while your house looks like a toy box? That is what I hope to find out and create a space for living.
