It is no surprise that paper management is a constant struggle. Between the constant stream of paper coming into our lives and the decisions of what to keep and what to trash, it’s easy to get overwhelmed. Just read a few comments from our last giveaway to know you are not alone if you struggle with paper!
Here on Space for Living I have touched on a few elements of paper organizing, organizing everyday papers, processing mail including how to limit your mail, and organizing recipes. But it is time to get down to the nitty gritty! We are going to make a home for every piece of paper in your life. Don’t worry we will go slow and do it together!
Over the next 10 weeks, each Thursday, we’ll focus on a specific type of paper. You’ll be able to link up your own progress each week. Paper clutter is not easy to tackle, so the more inspiration and teamwork the better! Plus, it’ll be fun to celebrate our progress.
Kaui, from Thrifty Military Mommy, is joining in the fun too. Not only will she be sharing her own paper organization journey, but she’ll also be sharing her expertize in organizing the large amount of paperwork that goes along with military service.
To help guide us a long the way we will be following the chapters in the ebook 10 Steps to Organized Paper by Lisa Woodruff.
Lisa’s book clearly divides up the type of paper by chapter with straightforward steps for follow through.
10 chapters, 10 weeks
- Week 1 8/16- Taxes
- Week 2 8/23- Important docs
- Week 3 8/30- Medical & Special needs
- Week 4 9/6- Archival
- Week 5 9/13- Manuals
- Week 6 9/20- The Home Binder
- Week 7 9/27- The Sunday Basket
- Week 8 10/4- Daily Files
- Week 9 10/11- Active Files

You dont’ need to have the ebook to follow along. You’ll be able to link up to our Organizing Paper Party each week with any type of progress you are making!
